"Hot Tub Time Machine"
Thanks for saving me time
A movie to skip
The thing is I saw the trailer, and I want those 3 minutes back. I can't imagine watching a movie where the main plot point is given away by the title. Especially that title.
(on a side note, I wonder what has happened to John Cusack, that he would take this role? I was willing to forgive "Must Love Dogs", "Con-Air", but really? I mean, really?)

I'm sure it's superb.
But can it get past the hype?

man, are you good at haikus. next you should tackle a report card on the topic of "hot tub time machine."
ReplyDeleteincidentally my friends at rockgardentour.com have free verse haikus as a regular part of their radio show. usually they are regarding some aspect of smalltown life in south dakota, of which i know you're a fan.
also, i love the title. i think you should start all your postings with "so-and-so disappoints."

it was texas, not texas tech. and i would argue that michael jackson only disappoints on that one level (behaving inappropriately with children).

is it possible that hot tub time machine is a film with the perfect level of irony and making-fun-of-oneself? i know it's not likely, but it might be possible. or else i'll have to swear off john cusack forever.
